The popularity of the Maldon Mud Race continues to provide a great days entertainment, with many worthwhile charities benefiting from the event. Next year, Maldon Mud Race Ltd. will be nominating the 4 main charities to receive a share of the total funds raised.

We would like to thank ESSEX COUNTY COUNCIL as the main sponsors of the 2010/11 Maldon Mud Race and again, we are thankful for the support of REDROW HOMES - BUILDERS OF FINE QUALITY HOMES. With this support, we were able to make this years' event the biggest and best yet.

IMPORTANT NEWSFLASH
We are pleased to announce that the 2012 Maldon Mud Race will be held on 29th April 2012, sponsors are yet to be announced, Redrow Homes have already committed their support. A program about the Maldon Mud Race, featuring Jo Brand and Sean Lock, will be broadcast at the 22nd September 2011 at 9pm on 'Dave' (available on Sky 111, Virgin 128 and Freeview 19).
Mud Race DVDs featuring Jo Brand will be available after this date at the same price.

The 2012 Mud Race Schedule (TBA)

Entry to the 2012 event will be via a personal donation which, along with a share of the sponsorship from the event, will be going to the organisers' nominated charities.

The Mud Race is a sponsored event organised by Maldon Mud Race Ltd. Competitors can choose their own charity for half the money they raise, the other half goes to the local community charities chosen by Maldon Mud Race Ltd. Competitors from all over the world are welcomed, in the past we have had competitors from Finland, Germany, USA and New Zealand.
