The Mayor presented the trophies to the category winners (see race results). This was followed by presentations to each of this years benefiting charities‚ Essex Air ambulance‚ Little Haven Children’s Hospice and ‘Buddies’ a local children’s charity. Representatives of the charities were very grateful for the efforts of all the competitors.

The evening was well attended‚ dispite major traffic jams in the region‚ and competitors enjoyed meeting each other again.
Our thanks to the Mayor‚ and Maldon Town Council‚ for allowing us to use the Town Hall.
