Kent Blaxill to sponsor the world famous Maldon Mud Race

23 February 2017

kent_blaxillThe Maldon Mud Race are delighted to announce their headline sponsor for 2017 and this exciting day will be in association with Kent Blaxill, alongside other smaller local sponsors.

Kent Blaxill is a prestigious builders’ supplier with over 175 years heritage in the east of England, and they are excited to be working with the team.

Simon Blaxill, Managing Director said, “Maldon Mud Race is an extremely popular event across our region and reaches 20,000 people on the day of the race which this year is on Sunday 7th May”. We hope to enter a full team from our staff and fund raise amongst our trade and retail clients for both the Maldon Mud Race, and our own charity for 2017, East Anglian Air Ambulance.

We supported the race in a small way last year but we wanted to increase that support in 2017. On the day of the race, we hope to be able to showcase some of our many shower products as well as invite clients and customers to share the fun day with us.

Brian Farrington, Chairman of the Maldon Mud Race said “Kent Blaxill are a well-known respected brand across the area and we are thrilled to have their support”. He continued ‘Entering a team from their branches across the region will further enhance fundraising and they are also helping raise awareness of our exciting fun race by putting our logo on their many delivery vehicles so we really hope this year will see an even bigger turn out and allow us to raise large amounts for worthy charities across Essex.’
